is it normal for this fish not to feed right awauy?

i have a powder blue tang that is over a week old in my tank he had ick the first two day but my cleaner wrasse cleaned him up good...he has been perfect ever since no ick very active healthy looking and really fat from all the algera he has been eating off my rocks

problem is he wont eat preparred foods...nori lettucee flack brine shrimp..nothing!

r they normally hard to get to eat, does it jsut take a while?

any ideas?

get some liquid garlic soak the food in there then feed them it will attracked your fish to feed and helps with ick. u can get it at any heath store or GNC

I agree about the garlic. My Kole Tang didn't eat until after the first week. I think he was getting use to his home. I heard sometimes some fish take alittle longer than others to eat for the first time. I am sure your tang will be fine after he gets use to life in your tank. The garlic will help making him eat and also with the ich. I also use liquid Vitman C in my tank to help with my tangs immune system. You can get this at your LFS.
