Get out the old cheese log, I'm making a CD

As the temperature warms, birds fly, and windows roll down I start to get the urge to make a good driving CD. While I am partial to great songs that everyone knows. I am feeling the urge this year to create something that is right on the border of being too embarrassing. Keep in mind that the only thing that will make each one of these songs not embarrassing is that it is followed by another with the same attributes. Ohh I digress....

And the CD begins:

1. Take one me - A-ha
2. With or Without you - U2
3. Come Sail Away - Styx
4. Faith - George Michael
5. Drive - The cars
6. Three times a lady - Commodores
7. Shinning Star - Earth, Wind, and Fire
8. Do you really want to hurt me - Boy George
9. Boogie Shoes - KC & Sunshine band
10. Summer of 69 - Bryan Adams
11. I would walk (500 miles) - Proclaimers

Give me some more suggestions:

I want to keep the songs between the 80's -90's

Ohh Pete the prognosticator. You need to stop relying on Punxsutawney Phil and the farmers almanac to determine your plans.

Hey Luciano, I've got a song for you to add to that CD.

From http://www.team188.com/web/index.php...ard+Theme+Song

This is the official song of Woburn Robotics, performed and written by a former team member and his band, Triplicate. The song was composed when the Blizzard series of robots began, and remains the only song (to our knowledge) composed for a robotics team.

You can download the Blizzard mp3 from this website by clicking on the link below, and many more songs and their respective lyrics from the Triplicate website. Please do visit it.

Added to the list:

She Blinded Me With Science
Walk Like An Egyptian
I think we're alone now

Homer & mini

good suggestions, but if it is a good song then it doesn't make the list. This is one of those groupings that includes songs that you love to listen to but are borderline embarrassed to own.

I found tons of stuff from your suggestions.
