Tank update
I did another water change last night. (Ammonia=1, Nitrites=0.25, Nitrates=10). Since I had so many water changes with part one and now with part two I'm getting very good at them I'm hoping the ammonia level starts to drop before I feel like I have to pull up the one big rock that came with part two to check for dead stuff on the bottom side. I did check all the small rocks yesterday for sponges that look bad and siphoned off a few.
I can't get over the change in the tank since I added all the rock from part two. Part 1 After Part 2

It looks wonderful Danielle! I really like the way you scaped it.
How come you haven't pulled all the hairy stuff off of the ph though? I sure hope you don't have to do massive water changes either. But it usually seems like if the ammonia goes up that high....that one change doesn't cut it, and most times there's something dead in there to make the ammoina go up, right?

Danielle, your rock scaping looks good. I like the bridge you have there on the side.

I've left the hairy stuff on the ph because I had two pink urchins from part one that have been cleaning it off for me. Also because of the design of the Remora, the pump is held on by two plastic clips and doesn't seem super-sturdy. When I've messed with the pump before it's fallen off and created a massive sand storm. I'll probably take it off completely and clean it at some point but right now it just hasn't been a priority- although it does look bad. So far this cycle has been exactly like the one I had with part one. My ammonia goes up to 1 each night and I do a 10-20% water change, siphoning off dead stuff. With part one, after about 5 or 6 days of water changes the ammonia started decreasing. Hope your cycle is short Dennis!

I hope so too. I'm hoping that since it is a direct flight I can get it in the tank sooner and save most stuff.

The PH on the left side of the picture is a Tunze 6060. The pump on the right is a mag3.

Not the greatest picture...but this is one of the two anemones I got. The picture was taken right after I put it in the tank. It's opened up quite a bit since then. Any guesses on what kind it is or is it too tricky to ID with the quality of the picture?
