Maroon clowns are mean, mine is a complete %*&^#$@! Most damsels are also considered aggressive. You may have a bloodbath on your hands.

Hopefully the damsels will chill out in a few days. The maroons can get nasty. Everybody should be able to hold there own, but it may be difficult for future additions. Hopefully everything goes well.

My maroons are actually my nicer clowns, never try to bite me or anything. My occellaris, on the other hand, is quite mean, or at least tries to be, lol. I hope your damsels calm down and leave your maroon alone

Give it time..Once the clown settle down and grow a little bigger, it will become the aggressor. My damsels harassed the clowns, but eventually had to hide from the clown.

One thing you can try (and I know this is more difficult in a reef tank) is to slightly rearrange things just before adding a new fish. It can equal the playing field a bit and remove the already established territories of (in this case) the damsels... which btw... are lil demons.
