Octopus Extreme External Skimmer any good?

This is for the non-Marine Solutions Octopus Extreme skimmer http://www.premiumaquatics.com/Merch...y_Code=Octopus

Has anyone purchased one of these? Are they good? I'm looking to change out my Turbofloater Shorty II skimmer. It is quite a nice skimmer, but too big for my purposes (for a 70 gallon tank). I only want to go with a recirculating skimmer because I do not wish to deal with issues such as making baffles in my sump.

i have the EXT-PS-120... they redesigned it again and it does not look like the picture anymore... the changed the input of the recirculating pump... it is not located in the same chamber as the output, which is under the bubble plate... this contains the turbulance under the bubble plate... you need to supply a constant water level to the feed pump because the skimmer is sensitive to water level changes... also, with the wedge pipe design for controlling the output, you'll need to vent the tube right after the T connector...
