Anyone ever hotwater dipped zoas?

Well I read alot about this after looking in my kinda qt tank tank I am getting ready to tear down and saw a bad nudibranch guess dip didnt kill them so I hot water dipped them and they all fell off and the zoas opened in less then 10 minutes and are all doing great now. This really works well. Kinda scary to try something new though.

I read that too, but I think it was boiling water and I think the guy was trying to get rid of the zoas

I just took it out of the hot water tank overflow valve. They all are out and look awesome today I think a few look better then they ever have and they all are fully opened I dont have a closed polyp on the 5000 or so I have or it seems that there are that many when they are all opened up I have colors I didnt remember having after mixing them up while I was putting them all back in. It worked well I only shook them in it for probably thirty seconds then put them in the back in tank water to cool them off. There Is a cool thread on here soewhere about it and it working thats what gave me the idea.

OK, I've read about dipping things in fresh water, but is it only water? Did you adjust for pH?
