Well, that is good. Maybe AWT has resolved their PO4 issue.

Maybe. I bought my 4 pack when it looked like they were forthcoming and interested in dialogue regarding their tests and making them better. I am kinda put off by their seeming recent uninterested in discussion or replying to email, and will be thinking a lot before buying more from them. I do hope it works out because their service would be very helpful.

Hmm.
I sent a test in last week, and tested the water with my Elos test kits and in the Lab at the Steinhart Aquarium.

Elos Ca 500. Alk 12
Steinhart Ca 500. Alk 11
AWT Ca 384. Alk 9

I am concerned about AWT's results.

FWIW, I got my last results back and the numbers seemed much more in line with my own test kits. Nitrate was 0.2 so I was happy Apparently my silica really is high but it does seem to be dropping. I'm assuming the new Silica Buster and 24/7 Phosban is helping. The only oddity in the latest results were my Calcium at 300 -- I tested shortly after receiving the results (no additives or water changes since the results came back) and got 400 -- all of my SPS looks very healthy; though some of the coralline on the back of the tank is whitening.

Someone just needs to make a single probe with 0.001% accuracy that tests for everything. Thats my wish for x-mas.

Gotta wonder if Begalke's salt analysis goes through how well "AB Reef Salt" will fair.
FYI: The lab analysis of various salt mixes that AWT is working on will begin January 2nd. I will post the results on RC when I have them. Happy New Year!

Hey Boomer:
No problem, I hope this test will be of use to us. I think it will be.

I haven't been on RC much this month due to my work schedule. I'll post the results as soon as I get them though!
