coral id please

What kind of coral is this exactly? It retracts to almost nothing when disturbed by a crab or something, in the actnic lights (when the 10k's are off) inside the fingers is almost like a neon green.

looks like xenia to me. If you look under the polyps, it appears to have white fleshy stalks instead of the purple mat the GSP normally have.

my xenia also glows green inside the polyp edges under actinics.

I agree. There isn't enough information to differentiate the two at the moment.

Yeah either GSP or gorgonian. Panmanmatt my GSP's show white like that only to get covered eventually with the purple base and then new polyps.

Green star polyps. It ought to glow fairly brightly underactinic and has a small white center on each polyp.

Looks like encrusting gorgonian to me. I thought mine was GSP for a while until i did some research. Watch out as it grows like a weed.
