Utah. I live in utah now. Moved here about a month ago now. They seem to be readily available here as two fish stores had them. I've never seen them in ohio. Or even offered online??? He is pretty freakin sweet though. Finally starting to realize i'm the keeper of the food and comes towards my hand.

My kids say name him "Seurat" (you know.. the guy that did the paintings with lots of "dots"...)

Pronounced like.... "Sir~ott"

Seurat.. knew a lot.. about.. dots!... I like it!

I saw that original painting in the Winter Palace in Russia. It's actually very large. Up close you can't make out much. I am also a big fan of pointalism.

AW.... I knew my kids were onto something.... they said..

'Mommy... that fish looks like that "sir~ott" guys paintings up close!'

Hey.. hand it to a 7 & 10 Yr old!

COOL! That will make them happy for the day. AND.. they may expect another pic of him with an official name (if you choose it.. ) they'd be bushy tailed like a peacock!

Glad you liked the suggestion.

FYI....Wish they had a grand name for my big FW 12" Red Devil Cichlid.... all they could come up when he was a 3" Juvie was 'WORMY'... I think YOU got the better end of their continuing education.

Gotta run... "WORMY" is clinking the tin cup up against the tank again... waiting to be fed! .... (He's a pig of a tank buster.)
