Replacing powerhead with Koralia in cube

60 gallon cube 24x24x24 replacing powerhead with more energy efficient koralia. what size koralia should i get Hydor koralia 3 or 4? Because of the size of the cube planning to run just one as i think two would be too much .
Hydor koralia 3 = 800+ gph
Hydor koralia 4= 1200 gph

I just bought a #3, its in my 55g long reef, and it's power full, the flow reaches the other side(4 feet) with no problem, and also reaches the dead spot directly below and behind the hydor.

Go with the #4

It will give you 20x turnover, which is minimum IMO.

I use 2 K2's in my 50 Gallon... I think you can direct the flow bettwer with 2 units that with 1.. beside that the K2 use 4,5w each and the K4 use 12w on its own... so even with 2 K2's you'll still be saving electricity and getting the same flow.

Its not so much about the numbers, its really about providing proper flow to each resident, some like a lot, some like a little. With this in mind I use 2 K2;s and 1 K1 in a 55 long. This way it makes it easier for me to direct more or less flow where appropriate.

I'll have 2 x 6055s and 2 x 6025s (modded) plus my return in my 60g cube (24s all around). Should be somewhere around 75x turnover total.

Got a koralia 4 today to replace powerhead, lots of circulation . Counting the refugium pump I'm at about 1600 gph or approx. 26X.
Thinking of getting a koralia 3 also (maybe)
