Why is it you cant see the results until you vote? I am looking for the same info and want to see the results. So therefore i must cast a vote based on no experience and render the pole false and misguiding. But i will vote reeflux 12k since that is what i am leaning towards as of now.

really depends on what you want... growth, color, do you prefer a bluer look or more towards the white? are you going to have any actinic sopplimentation?

I love the Phoenix 14's since I don't have any supplementation.
If I had actinic I would have stayed with my aqualine 10k's they had the best crisp white light over my xm 10k's.

i have used both the xm 10k and the reeflux 12k. the xm is decent with actinics but otherwise, in my opinion, fairly yellow. as far as the reeflux 12k goes, I personally thought it was way too blue. thats my input

out of the choices Reeflux 12k but you should include Radium 20k. I just switched out my Reeflux for Radium and man corals pop like crazy and the color is second to none..

I'm looking for good growth, I like the white look with a hint of blue. I love the look of the Phoenix bulbs, but everyone is using them.
If I run the XM 10K's I will definethly have to run supplimentation. I will also be running 4, T-5's in the hood.

you definitely need to look into the radiums, nicer than the phoenix bulbs in my opinion, I haven't seen a reeflux 12 in real life, but I want to!

xm for its higher par. phoenix for its ability to put out a high par and actinic supplementation all in one bulb.which makes things much more economical.

The Phoenix has little 420nm light, and too much blue. I hated the way it looked, a washed out pastel. It might look better on an electronic ballast. I used the AB 10K for years, it is a great bulb. I use the Giesemann Coral now, it has higher PAR, and it has a nice purple-white color. BTW I have no actinics.
