FANS: Bela Fleck and the Flecktones?

Any Flecktones fans out here? I had the pleasure of seeing them at Bass Hall in Ft. Worth last night. Definitely one of the best and most ingenius shows I've been to in a long time.

Amazing. I love Bela. Not to mention when you pair him with Victor Wooten... Talk about some grooving tunes.

Saw Bela Fleck perform with the Nashville Symphony. He'd done some wild stuff with a banjo and bass, fitting it to classical. Met him about four years ago in the course of my work. He's a genuine person who freely admits being VERY GOOD on the banjo. I agree with him. I have a couple of Flecktones CDs.

Saw 'em here in Sacramento at the Crest Theater. What a unique style.

they are amazing. Vic wooten is a monster on his own. Some of those crazy thumb pop techniques he created are so complex, and his use of harmonics and tapping rival that of Jacos intro back in the early 80's.
I think future man is also amazing, synthaxe based drumming, go figure. Have you seen their live Cd, w/ all those weird musicians? like the throat singer guy.

Great show I saw them a few years ago with the Dave Mathews Band. They did some amazing jams together.
