gatohoser, We should never loose a siphon. The way the bends and height, (basically a closed loop system) are we should never loose the siphon. We have stopped and started a few times to simulate a power outage to see what would happen and it does fine.

ohioreefer, I would love some cheeto! I don't have any plant life in the fuge yet and I need some! Thanks! I also have another small polyp frag for you, let me rephrase that, a "tiny" frag... lol

CPT. MURPHY, Thank you!

Brandino007, Thank you, My 55 was packed full. I bought the entire set up contents and all and while I enjoyed the tank, I really wanted some space. I can not believe how much happier the fish seem in this tank!

We also bought a light for the fuge tonight. I'll take a picture of that and post later. We also put one set of actinics in the canopy today. It is beautiful tonight!!! The actinics were on my 55 so we had to wait to transfer those to the new tank. As luck would have it, One of the ballast to one set of actinics blew two days before we transfered tanks. We have a new one on the way. I did some re-aquascaping on one side today. I think it looks better. It covers the acrylic more than it did before. I'll take more pictures of the fuge with the light and actinics to post later.
Thanks!
Micki...

Well, I sliced my right index finger pretty good on one of the glass tank cover pieces! OUCH! Other than major dry hands (can't use too much lotion right now, have my hands in the tank too much) They aren't too bad. My arm is worse than anything, the two GBTA have stung me to no end!!! I did more work in the tank today and they again showed no mercy on my arm! It almost looks like I have poison ivy! It also itches tonight. Geeez, and to think I am only trying to better their life! lol

Hi Micki. You have a large space to fill in that tank. What're boxes for?

Have you tried using gloves? Also, is that a sandbed in your sump?

Anyway, great tank and I'd love to see a whole tank shot.

Keep it up

@lvin, I don't really want the packed out tank look right now. I had that with my 55 (look in my gallery photos), I was ready for a change. I would like to enjoy the fish for a while now.

The boxes are so I don[t have to "stack" the live rok so much. With my 55 I could use the back for a little support, with this being a room divider I have no back to give any support. I actually took one of the boxes on the right side out today. It was breaking and I was afraid it would fall at some point in time. Some of the fish are actually liking the boxes. My yellow tang loves it! He goes in one and looks around and out at us all the time.

Thought about gloves, In fact my son went to buy some for me but the pet store no longer carries them. I have always taken care of my tanks with no gloves, but thought I would try it this time. Didn't work out though. (I have a 12 inch bristle worm and was scared to death that it would get me! It didn't and I saw it in the tank last night. I really was hoping to catch it and send it to the fuge. Oh well...

I have a 1 inch sand bed in my "fuge" I also placed a few cups of CC from my 55 on the sand to seed the tank.

Actually there are a few whole tank shots. Just none that look that great. I can't seem to get far enough away from the tank for a really good full shot. I'll keep working on it though!

Thanks for the kind words, much appreciated!

Micki, this is great! Thank you so much for sharing. A few things I liked the most:

The light brackets.
The power connections for the MH's.
The woodwork.
The refugium drain system.

All are very cool, and you have a lot to look forward to.

The acrylic stands remind me of a display at Dillards.

Another 55 gallons and you can join the big tank group. Just kidding. I didn't realize how deep you were into this addiction. Very nice setup. It puts mine to shame.

Thanks Slicktrax! I think this will be the biggest I go, (for a while anyway)

I have to give my husband the set up credit. He did a great job!

Micki, are you from Cincinnati? You look very familiar. I live out East, but I work up North.

Well, it's still not out of the question as I used to live in Dayton. Worked at Wright-Patterson for a few years. Do you, or anyone pictured, fly RC aircraft?

Hey dot, nope, my husbands Uncle used to work at Wright-Patt, but that was some time ago. Although my Dad (the man on thr right) used to fly privately, I don't think he ever flew from Wright-Patt though.

How's the tank coming? It'd be nice to see a full tank shot and get some updates on anything you've changed.

I got a SCWD as a gift from a friend. I'm considering a closed loop with a MAG7 for my 37g.
