How should I attach ricordia to a rock
My orange ricordia has recently ran out of room to grow on its rock and has popped of a few polps I nned to know the best way to attach these to a rock. I asked at the LFS and they said to use liquid crazy glue. Is this the best way or is there a better method?
Thanks in advance! |

Hi,the crazy glue should work fine, but you might have better luck using superglue gel.Just dab off the bottom of the Ric & the piece of LR you are going to glue too. Then glue in place,& pop back in the tank.Might take a couple of attempts,as sometimes the slime coat will stop the glue taking effect.Good luck,HTH.

in my own experience I can't get the normal or gel super glues to work. the bridal veil over the top of the ric and rock with a rubber band works well, but I didn't like the look in the tank. now I use 4# fishing line and a sewing needle right through the base of whatever softie I am attaching this has worked well for colts, mushrooms and rics.

You can just put a rock in a plastic food container on the bottom of your tank and put the ricordia on top of the rock. The container keeps the ricordia from getting blown off the rock. Within 1-2 weeks it should be attached.
