anybody ever make fake anemones do they work?

I have 3 anemones it keeps splitting has anyone made a fake one that clownfish have taken to. I seen one at the store but it was small. Im tired of mine killing all my corals.

Make sure your materials are nontoxic. You know, Clownfish will host corals too. What kind of corals do you have in your tank? Can you make room for a Torch Coral (Euphyllia glabrescens)?

Cool

They sell some decent looking fake corals and anemones that you know will be nontoxic since they're made for saltwater tanks, although I don't know if a clownfish would host in them.

I have clowns on a plate, the plate has gotten very used to it. Even to the point of liking it,the clown feeds it. And clean it of any loose sand and cc.

It would be worth a try! But you can make a clown pick what you want it too. Mine has wiped out a few corals also. I'll just not add anymore until she passes. Too cool to get rid of, and I've had her almost 4 years.
