Condy / Mandarin,
Will a condy eat a mandarin?

Good question. I would expect the mandarin to be smart enough to not get close enough to be captured and eaten, especially if it was stung by the condy once. Now, if the mandarin died and the condy found it I would think it would be fair game.
Why are you asking, did something happen?

I have two nice size one,s in my FO tank took them out of the main after 3 days they ate 3 coral cats and MY small loin. the next smallest thing was my mandarin. So i moved them before something happend, its been 6months and they would really look nice in the big tank BUT dont know if i should risk it

Dang, I knew they could move around the tank but never thought they would be able to hunt like that. I wonder what type of chemical battle was going on between the lion fish poison and the anenome sting during that battle.
If they ate those other fish then I would definitely keep them away from the mandarin. Those could turn out to be some of the most expensive condys around if they keep eating like that. Good luck.
