Cabbage coral

Is there something wrong with my cabbage coral ?? It is expelling brown stringlike pieces all over the tank. One end of the string usually splits into two and has a little white piece on it which sticks to whatever it touches. All other corals appear to be in normal shape and all fish show no signs of any problems. Please tell me what could be wrong.............. Thanks!!!!!!
