I need power info please.......

I had to go out of town for two funerals this weekend and have been gone since thursday evening. I am 5 hours away and need to know how long the power was out, and how many times in the Fulton Area, near Hurley and Northrop.

Im trying to decide if I need to rush home tonight or not.

Thanks, Doug

For current information on outages and time of restoration, call PG&E's Outage Information Line: 1 (800) 743-5002.

Customers who have been without power for more than 24 hours are asked to call SMUD's outage line at 1-888-456-SMUD (7683).

I would say get back as soon as possible but do make sure you get back. don't push it and be safe consider there are many hazards out there and lots of crews clearing debris and such!-)

I'm not far from there. PM me the address and I can drive by. It was a mess here yesterday. Do you have a neighbor you can call? I did that from work yesterday.

I cut my trip short and just arrived in town. It looks like I saved up some Kharma from my troubles over the summer, I didn't have any losses, no stress or trauma to see signs of.....and in fact, my colors look better from the WCs I had done this past week to lower my P04 and even notice some growth.

Lucked out I did, now that I have a decient paying job.....I need to put some thought into safety and redundancy systems I have been unable to attend to.

Thanks.....Doug

Glad to hear all is well. It still looks like a war zone in my area.

I can start making RO/DI water for anyone who needs to do an emergency WC. I have 12/5gal jugs that I will start filling up.

Thanks for calling me and letting me know the power had been out. I had other things on my mind and this was the last thing on it.

If it had, your call and me getting back would have made the difference in a partial loss compared to a total.....

I appreciate it, even if it did freak me all out......

Thanks for the thought buddy!!!

When I have clients out of town when a storm hits, I always call their homes to see if their answering machines pick up when there are power outages in the area.

What troubled me is not so much if the power was STILL out, but if it had been, for how long.

I purposly kept my fish load down for a long time, just for this situation.......Only recently, I began to increase it for better coloration.

Water is being made, let me know if anyone needs some in a pinch.

As well, if your out of power....you can pull out 5 gals or so and dump it back in every hour to buy yourself some time. But I am sure, thats been said already..........

Duh.....if you don't have power, why would you be reading this????

Its been a rough weekend......I'm not all here right now.

Glad all is well there Doug. Sorry you had to stress on it, but I also hope the experience helps you in the future.
