HQI splashguard/UV filter

Howdy

I accidentally broke the glass that protects the bulb from splashes and UV light escaping. I would very much like to replace the glass, but am finding it difficult to locate something suitable. Has anyone got ideas?!?

Try contacting the manufacturer of the fixture or the company you bought it from. They should have a replacement or be able to point you in the right direction.

Most glass for UV shields is tempered and low iron and would be hard to find in a glass shop in the right thickness.

Good luck and be careful running the light without it.
