they have a magnet and two suction cups---rather then just two suction cups--they don't move. The are silent--no vibration--almost a 360 redirect.

I have two MJ's and two Koralias and the koralias are silent while I do get some vibration from the MJ's. The magnets on the Koralias are great, very powerfull.

And I have a fish that burrys in it at night to sleep. He also nose dives into it when frightened and digs in it during the day.
So some days it keeps the tank stirred up.
So it is very loose with no chance of critters growing in it because of the turn over by this crazy fish.

Let's see, flow or sand diving fish, flow or sand diving fish, flow or.....

If you were to empty the sand out of the sock and discard, you won't have to worry about going BB

Hey, this might be a new process.

How to go Bare Bottom semi automatically or some such thing.

I have a single 4 and a MJ 600 with mod. They are comparible in flow. I think the mj is a little stronger though. I like the magnet the koralia uses, but it is a bit loud when it starts.

Isn't the flow still more direct with the mj 600 mod?
