Need some opinions.......

I have a separate Refugium and Sump on a 210 AGA (dual overflow) and am going to finally add an equalizer tube between the two so I don't have "balance" the two which is a complete pain!!!

I am thinking about a 1" tube between the two and tee'ing off in the middle to the return pump at 3/4".

I am wondering if the pressure of the water being pulled out of both the fuge and sump at the same time will prevent the required flow between the two to equalize properly.

Can I get away with just the one tube connecting the two or does it need to be a separate tube?

I suspect that I will just have to "try it", but would appreciate the benefit of any experience by any of you that have tried this.

This will work.
I have not tried this in a aquarium, but all our semi's are set up like this so the fuel tanks are equal (of course the fuel to the engine comes from the center just as you have decribed)
