Do Aptasia have long stalks ???

Hi Everyone,

I found several large anemones behind one of my stack of rocks.

I have had aptasia many times in the past in other tanks, but I never remember them having long stalks and fairly short tentacles.

I guess the question is:

Is it an aptasia and if it isn't, should it get a nice dinner of Joe's Juice ??

Thanks,

They can definitely have long stalks and long tentacles. It all depends on the conditions they're in. They're most likely stretching to find more light.
