how do you catch pods

Hi,
I have a 12 gallon nano that hasn't had any fish in it for a while. It has been actively propagating pods, there are alot of them, all over the rock, glass and sand.
I also have a larger set up that has a few pods in the fuge, but not as much as in the 12gallon. i would like to take some out of the 12 gallon and transfer to the larger. The only problem is that the water is different...i've purchased them set up indivisually.
Is there anything you know pods are attracted to? any way to trap them?
thanks

Turkey baster: suck 'em up and spit 'em out: but I'd equalize conditions in the 2 tanks first.

After you've made a successful transplant, feed phytoplankton to the receiving tank and they will happily multiply.

Cheato is a favorite living-medium for them: they use the strands as a highway.b

you can maybe trap some by setting up a corner with rock around it...also when you pull rock out you almost always see some running around on it you can snag.

Its unsightly but a piece of pvc and 2 endcaps for a trap would work. Set the pipe w/1 end cap in the tank for a day or two. When you're ready to harvest throw the other cap on it and remove it from the tank. I'm not sure how many you'll catch but they like dark hiding places with low flow.
