Which powerhead (or heads) for 10g

I've got my 10g cycling right now, and I'm using an older Hagen AC 20 I believe (a little over 100 gph). I realize this is too low for my tank, what do you guys recommend I add or replace this with?

I was considering a Koralia Nano but it almost seems too much for a single powerhead on a 10g.

Thanks.

I had a 900, and it was too much for my 10, went to a 600 and i couldn't have been happier, I had a AC 70 fuge on the back, but broke half the impellers, so it was prob putting out about half of its rated GPH, kept mostly large Euphillia, so too much flow would cause them to not even open up...

I will also have an AC 70 fuge on the back... assuming I can sell the HOB one I bought because it's too big.

keep in mind, that the flow rate on a stock 70 is too high to effectively be used as a fuge, you need to significantly slow the flow, so that Chaeto has enough time to pull your nitrates out the water. The longer your Refugium has time/contact with the water the more its able to pull out..

Yes I know, I'm going to pop in an AC 30 Impeller. That should do the trick.

What do you guys think of getting a MaxiJet 600 and a Hydor Flo (chime in if you don't think it is worth it) and dropping that around mid-tank level. Then covering the flow loss (from the Flo) by still using my current AC powerhead on the opposite end of the tank and higher up?

I always go for more flow. Flow is so important. It just sucks when your sandbed gets all smushed in a corner, lol.

Maybe a nanostream instead?

I had a mj1200 in my 10g that I clipped the impeller blades on and added a hydor flo.. takes up a LOT of space in there, very ugly IMO

it's tough to say, I'm still thinking against the MJ I put in.. possibly look into an AC20/30. I've been pondering the idea of a CL, I just don't know what put I'd want to put on it and whether or not it'd be worth it on a 10g. I might just upgrade to a 20g.
