Simple setup - 1 protein skimmer with maxi-jet attached, one additional maxi-jet and two T5-HO dual tube canopies. Mainly LPS dominated.

for details of my tank and pics of various inhabitants see:

heater, powerheads, skimmer/fuge, lighting

No canister filter or mechanical filter,

though i would consider it simple even if you added some type of mechanical filtration, even a Hob aquaclear filter would be sufficient

Heres my old 20g that I took down a while ago.
had an internal refugium and a 250 watt halide, chiller, etc.. but no skimmer! lol.. not saying my tank is simple, it was way cluttered.

I gave you a link to big als where they are cheaper than that no.But they seem to work great.I have had them on this tank for a year and a half and all my lps and my clam is doing great.I do not have any sps, only lps and softies.
