Poor little guy...

Found a little puppy right off the freeway here tonight. It was a little after midnight and below 30 degrees. Poor guy, so hungry and cold. I had to take him home.

Well my ole lady thinks we will find him a good home but she doesnt know he already did.

Cant be more then 12 weeks old and i can feel all his ribs. Now his belly is full and i have him wraped in a blanket sleeping that nightmare off.

I was thinking off freeway as a name but sounds corney.Any suggestions?

Sorry i cant give pic as my bro has camera to take pics of his dumb reef tank.

That's terrible. I don't know how people can just drop animals off like that.

I'm glad you picked him up

We had a dog named Freedom when I was little. Same situation, found her on the highway. She was sweet.
You're a good man Charlie Brown. Just tell your wife Santa brought you a puppy!

Call him Noel, because you found him at Christmas.

Isn't it a bit early for people to be abandoning their Christmas puppies?

"Detour"

"Willie" (Nelson, as in 'On The Road again')

Heck, why not "Nelson."

"Offramp," "Ramp" for short.

Good luck! I have yet to have that experience, but know there's going to be a new pup or two around the house the minute I see one like that.

Xmas theme...I suggest the name "Angel". It seems to fit. You're a good person to save that puppy. Both of my dogs I adopted as pups from rescue org.

i would first bring him to the animal shelter and have him scanned to see if he was microchipped (it might be someones lost dog). if its not chipped, how about santa's little helper (gotta love that dog on the simpsons) that is awesome that you picked him up and gave him food and shelter

What a cutie! He's very lucky to have found a good home, and I think you got a great Christmas present as well! I'd absolutely love it if my hubby saved a puppy and brought it home - I bet you probably racked up some serious points

Name ideas...
Bonus (as in Christmas Bonus)
Lucky
Chance
Name him after the road/exit he was nearest
