Yup, I said it back in October, you can skip the regular season and just play Buffalo/Ottowa for the conference. Bring it on

Okay - I will take Ottawa in 6. Maybe 7 if buffalo can play consistently, a slow - short bench of the rangers almost took them........

Took them at home and Sabres weren't playing sabres hockey either. I think they've got their crap together now though.

Sabres in 6. Ottawa has a history of choking in the playoffs. I'm counting on them doing it again.

losing in the conference finals is not really choking. If you make it to the third round you had a good playoff run no matter what happens.

I think Ottawa is depending too much on a single line. It comes down to how well the Sabres can handle the physical abuse because if they stay healthy I think Ottawa can't skate with them 7 games. If the Sens can beat them up though it will neutralize the speed and skill and allow them a good chance to win.

Shades of Don Koharsky: tonight's officiating is terrible. The roughing call on Campbell was a joke- just watch the replays.
The way the refs are calling the game Buffalo better solve the Sens power play or it's over.

Yep....No fault on Briere. I thought that goal at the end of the 3rd was awesome. I was at Applebees and the whole place went nuts.

I can't believe Miller let that one get by him....Dang!

Ok who else wants to stuff a big steaming pile of it in Vanmasenhoven's mouth? Ask him how it feels?

There wasn't much Miller could have done about it. Unfortunately, the puck skipped over his shoulder. As the anouncer put it "it was a knuckle-puck". Miller was screened and didn't even have a chance to get set up. The Sen's won the faceoff, knocked it back to the D and he got a slap off of an already bouncing puck. The Sabres played a great game... this was "good hockey". Game three will be different... we've got'em rattled!!!!

Okay- we finally won a game so we're down 3-1.
Who's got tickets to the next game in Buffalo?

Finally, after 3 games... we came out skating hard, good fore checking, better than average stick handling (still not as good as the Sen's) and Miller was focused; not that he wasn't the last few games but you could just tell tonight. We NEED the next three!!! Can we do it???

Buffalo did skate hard and Lindsay had a good game plan. (0-18 on power plays before last night does not cut it) But they also gave Ottawa a chance to come back to win the game. I think they need to start throwing the bodies around more.
