Fragswapper has been setup. If you plan on attending, please register for the event at http://fragswapper.com

Also, NCPARS is having a swap in March. You can check out their swap as well.

We'll have to make sure our swap is bigger than theirs.

How does frag swap work? Can any Joe Shmo register and come to check it out. I am new to this stuff and don't have any coral, but would like to come and see if there is anything that I can get to put in my tank. I have the Coral life lights. 2 65 watt 10,000k and 2 65 watt blue aztonic compact flo lights.

Yes, if you register, you can view the listings of the other members who plan on bringing things to trade/sell, and can reseve some goodies for yourself. You have plenty of light for most softies, and some stony corals as well. I have a bunch of stuff listed personally, and if you wanted, you're more than welcome to come check out my stuff in advance since it looks like you are just a town away anyhow.

I always try to trade for as much of that as I can! For some reason (probably having to do with this hobby) I can never keep it around as much as I'd like to.

I will be coming. I will try to compile a list on fragswapper. Hopefully I will have some acclimated and eating Potter's Wrasses to put on the list.

Let me know if you think it's a good idea or not. I know there's a meet in early Feb, and then the zoo event at the end of March, which I'm very excited about, but I don't plan on swapping at that event.

Thanks
Randy,

Count me in for 2.

If I can get a head count, I can get a donation of some sort of cookie, cake, or something from Delicious Rewards.

I'm in for 2 people.

I've never been to a frag swap before. I don't have anything to trade yet but there are still a FEW dead presidents left in my bank account. Can anyone advise me on what to bring to transport stuff home? I could get some bags from somewhere and maybe some of that disposable tupperware stuff. Is that what is normally used?

Baggies & tupperware are both good. Anything that will hold water for the duration of your travels is good. Also bring a cooler, it will help with transport and hold any leaks.
