Do you use Lugol's?

Just wondered how many people supplement iodine in their reefs? Is there a great benefit and also is it dangerous to the reef?

Lastly, is Lugol's the best or is there something better?

I use lugols's for coral dips but not as an additive. I don't have a test kit to test for it and it can be harmful when overdosed. Lugols to my understanding is pure whereas iodine and iodide are "watered down"
You do want to be careful with it as it is toxic if you get it on yourself not to mention it stains just about anything.

I dip new corals before QT and also if a coral is not looking so hot or has a obvious bacterial infection.
