Need ID please

Hey I just noticed this thing tonight. I need to know whether to remove if its harmful or keep it if its beneficial. I was kind of hoping it was a black abalone but I really dont know what it is.

Yep, I agree with RicksReefs. I've got a few of those in my display, but you rarely see them out during the day.

Alright Thanks for the ID, now i just wish that the peppermint shrimp wouldnt attack it when it sees it. Thanks again

Wow, thats pretty cool, although i dont think it detached it when the shrimp attacked it. It just crawled into a bore hole really fast. If only it could make it to the glass where the algae is
