Best Stoney Coral for Propagation
I am in the process of setting up a 2nd propagation tank for stoney corals/SPS. Thus far I have had success with a soft coral/LPS propagation tank and am ready for hard corals. Can anyone suggest the fastest growing, most colorful, and easiest to care for hard corals for propagation purposes? I am looking to start with corals that are quick growing & easy to grow and easy to sell. Assume perfect water quality in indoor conditions with 4-5 watts per gallon under 10,000 k MH.
Thanks. |

Montipora will be your best bet. Overall I've found faster growth than most Acropora and they're fairly hardy.

I would go with the Digitata's, very hardy and adaptable to different conditions
