what are some of the SCARIEST FLICKS out there?

can someone suggest a scary, horror, thriller, type of film that is worth watching.

child's play 2 was kinda decent back then, and like the IT,
i thought ring was scary and freaky in the theater, but it was pg-13 and i thought more could be done to it, haha

but ya post some, i gonna be heading to blockbuster :P

It all depends on your definition of scary. Some of the better movies have been dulled by time and exposure. Night of the Living Dead is an example of a great scary movie, but dated in our day and age.

Alien and Aliens are both great movies.

Blair Witch really scared me. I also thought the Shining was a good scary movie. One movie that most people haven't seen that is scary is Event Horizon. I don't know what it is about that movie, but it scared the heck out of me.

The Shining is a classic and that sh!t was sCary! Blair Witch really did nothing for me, it was more like a comedy. HTH

Event Horizon and 2004 Dawn of the Dead both had me on the edge of my seat. I won't say they are real scary but intense as hell.

YOu know it's interesting...I'm a scary movie wimp. Hate them. But I got sucked into the story of silence of the lambs. I wouldn't call that scary as much as intense. The Ring, I couldn't watch b/c it just weirded me out, that is what I would call scary.
