Well, we did it! You can argue all you want about what if this and what if that and who "could" beat who, fact is we can hang and we proved it tonight. Enjoy it on ESPN classic fellas.

Wait wait wait...did anyone think FLA was going to be in the NC game this year? Did anyone think Arkansas was going to make it to the SEC champ. game? Did anyone think Wake was going to have a winning record let alone a BCS invatation? Did anyone think SC was going to beat UM by 2 touchdowns right after SC got owned by UCLA?

I would put money on Georgia that they could be a thread in 2-3 years easily.

Grim, I think it's possible to end up #2, but we'll need help; it's all gravy though - actually extra, extra, gravy - on whatever happens the rest of this season. We've accomplished all our goals this year and that's more than enough.

What a day of football. Congrats to all the teams that won, especially Boise. Johnson showed a lot of class when they talked to him after the game, too, if anyone else saw it. Finishing as either one of two or the only undefeated team in 1A with the nation's TD leader and having beat Oklahoma (one of the top programs in the country recently) is a pretty freakin good accomplishment. Too bad there aren't any more great games till the 8th. It'll be fun watching Louisville and LSU beat on their opponents.

Carr will lose to Petey every time they play (which could happen a lot in the future, not going to lie)...Pete wins his big games, Voyd loses them all.

Something ridiculous? The Boise coach has not yet lost a game there!

I would bet they could win a "thread", just like I would bet WVU could and etc in 2-3 years.

Grim, don't worry about UM dropping Carr. He's 1-5 against Tressell and has lost the last two three years running, but he's got enough administration behind him that he'll stay. Another one or two 7-5 years will do him in, but 11 win seasons probably won't.

Oh, and saying how all the stats show that Arkansas should have won? How about the penalties - 12 for 123 yards vs. 4 for 35. The stats just show what everyone has known all along. Arkansas can run it with both McFadden and Jones, and can pass it with nobody. There were really only two surprising things that I saw in that game. 1) PJ Hill was ineffective and 2) McFadden got run down from behind to prevent a TD.

I think y'all need to realize that the day of the "old" "big" conferences is OVER... Seriously, why do you think nobody wants the Alabama job??? Or why Miami had to hire their own DC? I'm sick of this "holy-er than thou" old school BS... SEC fans... what happened? When's the last time you couldn't hire away a Rutgers coach? Or a Louisville coach?

It's gonna be great fun watching what used to be blue chip programs fall by the wayside as they realize their name doesn't carry the weight it used to
