LFS around Aurora

Anyone know of any awesome LFS in the aurora area? i know of:

Reef Plus.... steve is never honest with me when i try to buy something.

Land and Sea in Montgomery does not have much of a selection and they are over priced.

Waynes tropical paradise, aurora- Only has a hand full of fish and one shark (last time i was in)

Aquarium Adventrue -hoffeman estates....Awesome place but way over priced

Rods reef- i never been there but i am going to make a trip soon

Petland naperville- Was awesome until they sold the joint....now they hit the tank (no pun intended)

So i am looking for new stores to go to....

There are none, trust me on this. You might try Upscale Aquatics in Plainfield on 59, but they are very expensive.

Land/Sea moved to Naperville/Plainfield on 59, don't waste your time.

Reef Depot is about the best around the (relative) area other then Rod's.

Just went to PET FUN to get dog food, half of the dozen tanks are down. It's just like LAND/SEA, don't waste your time.

Steve at Reef Plus is a decent guy...likes to talk. If you know what you are talking about rather than asking him how do I start a reef tank he may take a different approach. I just usually know what I want and or I just try cutting deals in working with him. Reef Depot is definitely a good stop and or Rod's

You didn't mention the one in Lombard..

Pretty much our options are limited... If you ever venture far enough to a good shop stock up and get a lot, ehhe

Hers a map that will get you started, everyone says its out dated but I disagree.

Steve has very poor manners, I've spend a ton of money at his store and visit it once a week, and more often than not he is running around doing water changes instead of helping customers.

Reefplus... My dad and i have done a lot of business with him and i do mean A LOT he got us the 165 tank that i have now and all the equipment. My dad ordered 2 boxes, 45lbs of LR for $199each granted he did give us a deal on some things but in return he always says to get random stuff that i don't need, like a refractometer when i already have a hydrometer that works fine. I know he is a salesman but don't recomend a product to someone that does not need it right? I am not writting this to bash Reefplus or any other LPS but everytime i go in one i get the impression that they will do anything to get in your pocket insted of being honest with you and telling you what you really need....i am still a beginner so i need all the input i can get not someone telling me to get something for no reason. Don't get me wrong i know not all stores are not like this.
