i think its a fighting conch correct

Looks like a fighting or maybe a queen. I am guessing there are many snails that have that same grow out pattern though, who knows.

Probably. If it has the typical "kicker" operc (curved, skinny, and sharp-pointed brown thing attached to the foot) and the ringed eyes, at least it's a conch of some type. It's a little odd looking for a fighting conch, even for a small juvenile, but it's a little odd looking for anything else, too. I can't tell if the columella is pink or orange. If it's a conch, and it's orange, it should be a fighting conch, assuming it's from Florida.
