People are wierd. Here in SD, they found 4 dolphins shot to death by a gun, and then some nimrod speared a giant black seabass.

I don't get it. Don't you get this out of your system when you are 5 and burning ants with a magnifying glass?!

They probably won't catch them because they won't make an effort to. If they did catch them they wouldn't get but a slap on the wrist. Someday our justice system will recognize that animal cruelty is just the step before human cruelty. Someone like that has no respect for life be it animal or human.

Peter,

I just had to expose my idiot moment. When you said dolphins shot in "SD" I didn't look at your profile and just thought South Dakota. I couldn't for the life of me figure out how dolphins would be in the midwest!

if they are trying to catch them, i bet they would have by now because of the youtube account. I think that when you sign up for those things you have to fill out a thing with your name and e-mail and personal info like that.

I couldn't even watch the full video, but why do people do that? For full enjoyment? How about someone do that to them.

I agree with Rachel, animal cruelty leads to human cruelty. I work in a Psych hospital and some of the sickest kids have a history of animal cruelty. i hope those scumbags are caught and sent to prison, where the inmates can ......

What a bunch of punks! Don't worry, what you reap is what you sow.

I saw 2 of these rays while eating lunch a few weeks back off of he jupiter inlet and took a pick. Here it is. Awesome to see it in the wild.

Yes, for the most part, I think most of us believe we have evolved, but I think the animals are more humane than the humans.

No other animal kills for fun, just the humans, which with enough time will eradicate themselves and leave the planet to the animals that trully deserve it. There was great line in a movie that said, "what happens when are technology surpasses our humanity?"

This makes me so sad for the ray and mad at those people! Eagle Rays are my favorite rays and I hope the ray survivde and recoverd.

Those people need to be put in solitary confiment for life! Or see how they like to die and have the death sentence. OK maybe just solitary confiment.

Sure they do...Domestic dogs and cats do it all the time. I am sure that others do as well on occasion.

60 days jail and a $500 fine??? Thats just insane, especially for an endangered species. Some people are horrible, and our justice system isnt helping.

the best way nature could get back at that was if those people were tossed around by killer whales like they do with seals, then maybe i would consider it even
