Cool fish! Pipe fish right!? Is he from online or LFS? My LFS got a pair in bout a month ago. Differnet colors though. They were having babies in the bag while they acclimated!

Cool shot! I just picked up a pair of pipefish last night and they are soooo cool. How long have you had it? Is it taken frozen food?

Beautiful. I love that fish but I'm scared to try one.

I wish I had a spot for one... My main tanks are all such high flow... 90x turnover is my target.

Sticking one in a fuge would undermine the idea of a fuge...

Maybe a 'penthouse' tank... but that might not be enough pods.

Arrgh. Maybe someday after I get the 500g and the 300g frag tank set up, then I can tie in a small LPS/softy low-flow garden tank with lower flow. Its really a shame, because the corals I love are the high-flow lovin ones (SPS), but the critters I prefer are all the low-flow types... mandarins, pipefish, etc.

Lol, ask him how much flow is in his tank. Dragonface Pipefish do pretty well in high flow (they stay among the rocks).

Thanks everyone! It is a Dragon Pipefish. I have only had him/her for about a week, so I can't call that success. I picked it up from the LFS in the area. It on eats pods though. I am currently trying to convert it over to cyclopeeze and Hikari mysis.

Jason- I didn't put it in my SPS display(95x turnover). I could of, but I wanted it in the Zoa/LPS tank. I am thinking of getting another for the SPS tank, but haven't decided yet. If I can get this one to eat cyclops and mysis, I may get another one. I have seen a few others that have them in high-flow tank without any problems. They don't swim in the water column. They snake around the rocks and sand.
