Nitrite Question?

Yes i just finished testing my water and my AMMONIA is 0 but my nitrite is still kinda high about 2.0 PPM, does anyone know how to lower this..? thanxs in advance

the tank is still cycling. the bacteria will lower it. give it a few days. what do you have in the tank?

Give it another week and then do a water change.

i would change about 5 gal. the first time then about 3 gal. evry week. do you have any LR filters and such?

yes i got Live Sand Live Rocks like about 15Pounds not much...so change about 5 gallon?

and i see that u got a red mushroom...how long does it take to grow and duplicate to other rocks?

Not long, one of mine multiplied twice and i have only had it 1 month. They do take a little while to get full size though.
