Tank types in Tucson

I just wanted to get a feel for what kind of things people in Tucson have. (SPS, Softie/LPS, Mix, FOWLR)

I've only added SPS for a long time now, but I still have some left over softies and LPS that I don't want to get rid of, so mine's a mix.

I pretty much just have zoos and mushrooms but I recently added some toadstool and pumping xenia to my tank.

Really waiting for my tank to mature more before I start messing with anything major sps wise. I do have a montipora which started out huge and kept getting broken apart. It has started to take off growth wise though. Also have a nice pink birdsnest which has finally settled in enough to start growing. Really have tons of zoo's of almost every color and many mushrooms of every type. Also running a bunch of leather, 3 or 4 clams and about 5 or 6 lps. As you can imagine my tank is a bit on the full side and now everything is starting to go on a growth spurt! Time to go larger....(hope the wife doesn't see this post!)

phipper84,

If your tank has 3-4 clams you should be able to support most SPS. I don't know too much about your tank but from the look of your signature you got a great setup. What kind of lighting?

Have been running 2 X 250 HQI Phoenix 14400 bulbs. Was running 4 X 48" Vho bulbs but I have been having issues and can't get them lit at the moment. When I get back from Philadelphia I will pull my canopy off and get the hammer and make them work!

SPS, a few LPS, and some zoos. the problem is...my tank is just not big enough...i need to upgrade. hmm...i wonder if i can just sneak a new setup in to the house one day...and then i'll have plenty of time to look at the tank when my wife makes me sleep on the couch.

When I get back in town will see what I can do about pics. The tank is starting to grow out a lot since I posted pics on here and the ones that the paper ran.
