The brand is odyssea. This is from what I have read only, but they used to be extreamly bad. Bad product and bad customer service. Some people reported their halides catching fire, however, that was then and this is now. From what I hear now they changed alot. The units are no longer the magnetic ones so they're not catching fire anymore from the heat, and I hear they have much better customer servic. Also there is a huge thread on this site that says the light isn't that bad, but needs new bulb. You will here all kinds of thing though. Some say junk some say great, and some say ok.

I think the new is called oddysea the new electronic version, check spelling because I bad about it. If thats not it, it's close. Last time I seen it was about a month ago and I think it had over 1000 posts then, so it will take time read.LOL I have been wanting to try one because of all the good I hear now, but am still too scared to try. Ended up making my own for about 130.00 with a brand new XM 10K in that price.

I don't have one, but looked into it and read the entire thread. To sum up what people said, they generally like it. People like it more when they replace the ballasts as the supplied ballasts don't put out the wattage to power the lights. When the new ballasts are installed, the stock bulbs work well. No fires and one guy took the thing apart and felt it was built well.

The link is from my subscription. If you want to see the earlier posts, you have to keep going to the first post to go back because the thread has split many times.
