2 types of Xenia okay close together?

I recently got a frag of silver-streak xenia, and I put it towards the top of the tank, right inbetween some of my Red Sea Pulsing Xenia. The silver xenia is still a bit shriveled up after two days. I remember back when I got the pulsing frag, it took pretty long to come back too. Is it okay to have the two types that close or will they start 'going to war?' I only plan to keep the silver xenia there till it spruces up. Should I move it now?

I was reading GARF's website, and noticed they mentioned Xenia does best polycultured (more then one species in the same system). So I may have just answered my own question. Just looking for some confirmation here.
