Cleaning gsp frag

I have a small frag of gsp's,over the last few weeks i have had a problem with brown alge growinging on it snuffing them out. I have tryed the turkey baster trick but it all will not come of. The question is can that frag be gently brushed off without killing the frag

ya, just use your finger to wipe it off. Have you put it in front of a powerhead? That always works for me.
