Adequate lighting? 108 watts!

I have a 10 gallon AGA tank.

I'm thinking of making it a frag tank.

Will 108W of PC lighting be enough? 36 watts of daylight 10,000K, 36 watts of actinic blue, and 36 watts of 50/50.

Will it give good growth rates?

Even if I wanted to make it a non-frag tank w/ softies, rics, zoos, palys...will I get *good* growth and coloration with 108W over a such a small tank?

How would it compare with 70W MH lighting?

The MH would give you better color and growth than pc could.

108W over 10g, you'll be able to keep anything in there.

I'd go with the MH because it'll use less electicity and still give you all the results you're looking for out of a frag tank.

if you were going to try I would use all 10k bulbs, or 2 6700k bulbs and one 50/50 or actinic. You will get better growth rates out of a MH or T5.
