Question about BB in rotifer culture

Well I had my rotifer culture to close to my BB shrimp and I now have a decent number of BB in my rotifer culture. Will the BB eat the rotifer culture ?? Sorry for the dumb question just dont know the answer and it seems search has been disabled no matter what time if you are not a paying memeber.

Nope, they won't eat the rotifers. I would try to strain the brine out, though, as they can reproduce pretty fast

Good luck getting them out. You best off by screening below 150um and collecting with another 50um screen. Your going to lose a lot of your culture this way but it you keep both and set the one that you screen below 150 in a clean room, it will be free of Artemia. You can do this every few days if you need to until your cultures are back up.
