2 new guys.. ID?
I have always wanted a peacock, and my LFS could order one for me. A week later, 2 mantis arrived..
The first one is about 7cm long. Brown/cream, mottled.. Legs, uropod and antennas are blue-green. Meral spots orange. The other one is 11cm long. This one is also mottled, but the color is cream and white. Legs, uropod and antennas are pink. I don't know the color of the meral spots yet.. Both came from Indonesia. Does anyone recognize any of this? I'll try to take some pics later, but they are for the time being a bit shy. |

if you dont see the leopard spotting, you dont have any peacocks there. the first might be G. graphurus or glabrous, the second sounds like G. chiragra, but those are tentative IDs. Im reluctant to even guess on just a description.

Looks like a chiragra, probably female.

The first is probably Gonodactylaceus glabrous, the second is definitely a female Gonodactylus chiragra.
