Here's my Marco shipment. I am absolutely amazed. You know how you kinda need to lower your standards when you buy online? Marco Rocks met and exceeded my expectations and even my hopes. I ordered 120 lbs and got 128. I ordered 30 lbs of rubble and I got half rubble and half small to medium sized rocks. The 70 lb box of medium sized rocks is incredible. The shelf rock I ordered is fantastic.

And, no... I don't work for him.

I'm going to use tiggy's idea to build my reef. I haope to be able to use half the rock as normal and have lots of swimming room.

The shapes are awesome. I didn't buy the hand picked pieces but, there are no crappy pieces in the boxes. It's like they hand picked them anyway.

Depending on what product and how much of it... They range from like $1.50 upto 3 or 4 bucks per lb. + shipping. I got 128lbs for $311 including shipping.

I have the 3/4" sea swirl and it recommends pushing 800 GPH max threw it.I don't remember if I mentioned this.I don't know how much the 1" model does.I would go with a wave box and maybe a wavy sea or two.I did like my sea swirl but the wavy sea has more options and two of these are as much as a tunze wave box.I placed a bid on the tunze power heads 2x6201 and a controller. If I can get them for $300 I am happy.I don't want to use power heads because of the look but if the price is right I will have to suffer a bit.

It came with a Guiseman 6 foot 3 bulb, 750 watt light fixture. I have not plugged it in yet but, I was told that it has 14k double ended bulbs on the ends and a 10k in the middle and also that they spread out very well and cross over. I am designing a canopy that will house this fixture and four 4 foot T-5 actinics on 2 ballasts for supplimentation.

I agree. I had the opportunity to cherry pick my tank out of thousands of pounds of this stuff. I must say it wasnt easy. Great guy to deal with.

Here's the front shots. You can see the ideas pretty well. Right above the shelving unit... I want to put one of those black 8 switch power stips with the red buttons but I don't know what they are called or where to find them. Can anyone help me out on this?

Should be able to get them at the Guitar Center. Look for the American DJ PC-100A.

Got one. A DJ board, I mean. I will finish the paint job tomorrow... drill holes for the bolts that will hold the pumps in place... and leak test the tank. Then it gets moved in Sunday.

I took a shot, took my meds, staring at the tube, but you bastards keep posting! I am inexplicably attracted to the sound of new mail.
