Euro-Reef CS6-2+ skimmer FS in TX

Im selling a ER CS6-2+ with Sedra 5k pump and needle wheel. Included is a gate valve outlet so its absolutely quiet. Everything is in excellent condition. I used this skimmer for right at 2 yrs but meticulously maintained it. Ill post some pics tommorow night, but you can see it in the sump picture in my gallery. The red handled schedule 80 gate valve in that picture is what is included.
Price is $270 shipped in the 48 states. Please dont offer less 'cause I wont sell for less. Paypal only. Thanks! Jason

Here is a picture of it. I was asked in a PM if the gate valve attachment is glued together, and the answer is yes, but not glued to the skimmer. I will also include the standard tube and sponge that came with the skimmer in case the buyer dosent have room for the gate valve. Thanks!

Also, if someone has a skimmer that can handle a 300+ gallon SPS system, and needs a smaller skimmer, I can arrange a trade and I'll pay the balance of what you are trying to get rid of.

I've got a 180 gallon total capacity. Will this skimmer be able to handle this system well?

I wouldnt be comfortable selling this to you for use on a 180 reef system, but as supplemental filtration on a lightly stocked 180 that already has a functional refugium or other means of filtration it will work.

I really appreciate your honesty. Any suggestions on an appropriate skimmer (on a budget) for a fellow Texan? My system is a 125 with a 55 sump.

If your 55 gallon sump only has 8 inches or so of water in it, this skimmer can easily handle it depending on your load. I thought you had a 180 with sump. Euro Reef specs this skimmer as good for a 120, but that is not the max. I just like to err on the side of caution.
