Can a computer geek help this computer moron out?
Hey. I am trying to figure out how to make a copy of a non-copywrite protected DVD using my PC. Do I need any special software or anything? Thanks, Jason

If it is just a data disk the software that came with your drive should do the trick

i assume you have a dvd burner? just put the disc in the computer and open it up. inside there will the two folders one labled VIDEO_TS and the other AUDIO_TS or something similar. there might only be one . . . it's really depends on the disc. grab both of those folders and pull them to your desktop. when that is done simply burn them to another disc.
