Biozyme??

I was having a little problem with nitrites in my 10-gallon q-tank and LFS suggested adding Biozyme. I know this stuff is supposed to be pure bacteria. I was just wondering if this will cause the tank to cycle or cause spikes. Would it hurt to throw a little in my 75 gallon?

I've never understood exactly what these types of products are. They seem to work for some people, but the nitrates will come back. A long term solution would be preferable. Here is a thread where I gave some suggestions:
