Unhappy Female Clown Sick. Help Please!!

Hello,
I have a mated pair of Ocellaris clowns. For the past day she has been laying on her side most of the time. Every once in a while she will swoop up to her eggs, but then back down to the bottom to lay in the hair alge that they love. her color is fading and her breathing is heavy. The rest of her tankmates all appear to be just fine. Although her mate seems quite concernd, swimming back and forth beetween her and the eggs. My nitrates are a little high so I did a partial water change yesterday. Besides that all other parameters are ok. Any advise will help...

Thanx ahead for taking your time and your help!!!!

You might want to post this in the Fish Disease Forum. One of our Staff Members (billsreef) is a Marine Biologist and he Moderates that forum. There are a lot of hobbyists in that forum as well who are very knowledgable about fish diseases.

Best of luck with your Clown.

No problem. I wish I could answer your question, but fish disease is not my specialty.
